Ms Stephanie Quayle
Stephanie Quayle took up her post as headteacher of St. Katherine's School in September 2005. Previously she was deputy head at Cotham School in Bristol. Ms Quayle began her teaching career at Matravers School in Westbury, Wiltshire where she taught technology for two years before moving on to The Corsham School in 1992. She was Head of the Design and Technology Faculty at The Corsham School for six years. In 1998 Stephanie moved to Cotham School in Bristol. She enjoyed seven good years at Cotham as deputy head and in her final year there she was their Acting Headteacher.
Born in County Down, Northern Ireland, she attended a girls’ grammar school until she finished her A levels at 18, when she left Northern Ireland to study for her degree at Bath. She has stayed around Bath and Bristol ever since.
