About Us

Girls in eco Garden

St. Katherine’s offers all students a chance to flourish as individuals and they are all very involved in the development of the school. The majority of our pupils stay on in our outstanding 6th Form achieving excellent results at A Level. The personal development and well-being of our 6th Form students was described as “Outstanding” by Ofsted in April 2008.

St. Katherine’s students grow and flourish by:

  • Enjoying high quality education in a rural environment.
  • Being treated as an individual with a school size comparable to many independent schools.
  • Achieving outstanding results at GCSE and A Level.
  • Learning excellence as a part of the Science and Mathematics Specialist status.
  • Being challenged and involved.
  • Making maximum use of the outstanding Sports facilities.
  • Developing life-long skills through the Performing Arts.
  • Being happy and thriving with outstanding Pastoral Support.
  • Recognition with the Artsmark Silver Award.
  • Learning to enjoy all opportunities at school and beyond.
